Profurn Commercial offers a range of flooring suitable for a wide variety of sports and other functions. With the timber prepared in controlled conditions, it is acclimatized to the required level (specified at time of order) and sealed, ensuring that time on site is reduced significantly, as it does not need to be laid out for weeks on end, with the associated double handling and use of space. Again, using the controlled factory conditions, finishing the timber with 7 layers of UV lacquer, means that no time is required on site to sand and finish the flooring, allowing for a very quick installation (when compared to traditional products).

Our standard timber is Hevea, a by product of rubber production, and as a result, a very ecologically-sound option. At the end of the trees ‘natural life', instead of just burning the trunks, the timber is transformed into an attractive and practical flooring choice. Extremely stable, and very tough it may not be on everyone’s radar, but it has proved to provide a great outcome, at an unexpectedly good price. With thick layers of timber, should the need arise, this can be re-sanded on multiple occasions without replacing the timber, unlike thin timber or veneer options.
